ADSJKF'. Okay. Thought I'd start off with that. Because that was me Sammie and Alexis during the car ride at like 6am to this thing. Goodness gracious. We were freaking out. So we get to the hotel where the convention is being held and we check in. Everything is Supernatural and nothing hurts. So we watch DJ Quails in his Q/A. He was too cute. Next we saw Emily and Rob in theirs. AND I LOVE CHUCK (Rob's character) So I was super excited to see him, and he sang :3 and it's on my phone now. Yessssss.
So between the Q/As there was a trivia game. My friends and I went up to see what would happen, although the questions were beyond ridiculous. But anyway. We got about to the middle and there was a question about The Trickster. Out of nowhere comes Richard Speight Jr, he takes the mic from the announcer and says, You ALL better know this question....Then he just kind of slinks away off the stage. It was fantastic because he came from behind us, on the stage. Yes.
Then Matt Cohen and Richard Speight Jr come out for their Q/A. And oh my good gosh. They are the funniest two people in existence. Also, they walked up and down the rows and Matt was standing in front of us the whole time
So after that Q/A my friends and I just kind of looked at each other and all decided we NEEDED a photo op with these jokesters. So we buy our tickets and we're waiting in line. (I'll say this now, I have a walking boot because my ankle is messed up, I've been telling people stress fracture because it's easier than trying to explain ankle instability.) I get to the front of the line, after my friends have gone, and this is how that fantastic encounter went,
I just walked up waving and saying hi to both of them,
Richard: Wow! I really like your shirt (I wore the Cas shirt I had made a few months earlier)
Me: Ridiculous smile, Thanks!
Richard: What happened to your foot???
Me: Oh stress fracture.
Richard: OH MY GOSH. YOU NEED TO STOP BEING STRESSED IT FRACTURED YOU. MATT, WE CAN'T HUG HER TOO MUCH BECAUSE SHE'S STRESSED OUT.
I am just standing there cracking up because these guys are too much, I hugged Matt, and he crushed me, and Richard was hugging me on the other side. We're all doing something, I'm smiling but I have no idea what they're doing, and like half a second before the picture takes I just see this hand come into view and it's Richard, and he just cARESSES MY FACE. AND I AM LIKE WHAAAAAAAAAAAT IS GOING ON?! IT WAS FANTASTIC. I was like, yes. omg yes. And the picture, I might post it if you guys wanna see it now if not I'll wait til I get my Misha photo, turned out hilariously. It was just great.
After that, we just watched some more Q/As met some people and ate some lunch at Starbucks. Whilst eating lunch at Starbucks, Alexis and me sitting on one side Sammie sitting on the other; we saw someone. Sammie just had this look on her face....she's like, gosh, why does that guy look so-HOLY IT'S MISHA. And me and Alexis just look and we're like, ermahgerd. What is he even doing. Why WHAT?! He was walking quickly and talking with someone so we thought it would be rude to say hi, we were just happy to see him :3 So Sammie joked, okay look out for him now. 5 minutes later he walks back, I'm like, guys, Misha. ASDFJ'JKL;AD OKAY MISHA, THAT'S COOL. It was almost too much, because it was the first time we saw him, and yes. So we went to buy some merchandise and got in line for our Misha photo.
MISHA COLLINS EVERYBODY. Yes. He is fantastic :3 I get to the front of the line, after both my friends have gone, and this is how it went
Me just waving and saying hi
Misha: Hi! How are you?
Me: Hi! I'm good, how about you?
Misha: Good, thanks for asking. I really like your shirt....yes, that is awesome.
*Him putting his arm around me for the picture, still staring at my shirt.* *We take the picture and both say Thanks!* *The line, oh the long line, it was going so quickly haha*
We had to get our Misha autographs to finish off the day! We go back to the Q/A room, to our seats, and wait.
(OKAY. little rant time. Whoever the hell scheduled this Con did NOT know what they were doing. We had to wait 5 hours. And also we weren't able to pick up our photos, the next day even, because they hadn't printed out anything yet. WAT? So I'm still waiting on my photo, which I just claimed and saw for the first time yesterday, it turned out really well. I'm not mad at anyone specifically. Just, please be more organized next year. Thank. Anyway)
Within our 5 hours of waiting, from about 5-10, we were getting cranky. And it was about to get ugly, because we didn't want to be upset, but it was just happening. Mostly with Sammie, which is understandable, but ugh. So Alexis and me get away and walk around to get some coffee. Starbucks is closed, so we go to the bar and ask nicely if we can have some coffee to go. And this wonderful waitress was like, I WILL OBLIGE. And she was fantastic and went to get our coffee, she brought out this whole platter with creams and sugars. It was great. Life saver. So we're fixing up our coffees and see the SPN marathon is playing, without sound, and it's The French Mistake, the scene where they look up Jensen in that Soap Opera, oh I'm blanking, but we started commentating on it, from looks, like you do. And this poor woman, obviously not there for the spn con was just sitting there reading, but we couldn't stop. Then this woman just smiled at us and we're like, YES WE AREN'T BOTHERING HER. SHE LIKES THIS. So we kept talking for like 5 more minutes until the commercial. Then we went back to the Q/A room, Sammie had miraculously recovered and we were all good. Yes.
So we get to the front of the line and this is how that went (Yes, the line was going very quickly again to get through everyone)
Misha: OH! Hi again!
Alexis: Hi!
Misha: *Reads shirt* YES. Good. *Then he signed her picture*
Sammie: Hi! I'm Sammie.
Misha: Hi! *Reads shirt* *laughs* *Signs her picture with her name*
It's right before I go up, and I'm calm. Already met him and got the nerves out at the photo right? Yes. So I'm going to tell him my name because Sammie just did and he put it on her picture, yes.
I walk up there.
Misha: *SCREAMS. I mean legit screams in excitement.* *I am gone from this point* *He really loved my shirt and just* HI!!
Me: HI. (What's my name again? I don't know, Misha just screamed in excitement from seeing me again. Okay. Hmm?)
Misha: So, you girls just sit around making shirts all day? Is that what goes on?
Me: Pretty much...Yes.
Misha: *Laughs and signs my picture* Thanks!
